To introduce Blue Origin’s Mark 1 lunar lander, MVRK approached Square Design Inc. to fabricate a 30 foot, full-sized mockup to showcase the payload vessel designed to deliver three tons of cargo to the lunar surface. The replica was designed and built in Brooklyn before being moved to the company’s engine manufacturing facility in Hunstville, Alabama, where it then embarked on a multi-city tour to generate excitement and sales around this ambitious venture. Along with two coworkers, we led an internal team in its installation, teaching them the process of resurrecting it as we went. NDAs prohibited that process from being documented.
